Horrible scanning with English.

I used English text. Most of the negative reviews seem to have problems with other languages. If you can live with that, this is worth a try.

So the majority of us will benefit greatly from this intuitive app. For English speakers its a 5 star app.

So sorry, guys. It is a great idea, but it clearly needs work. I tried it on an English language piece and it came out really bad. But, dont be discouraged. Keep trying. It could be a winner. Thanks for the effort.

App starts up and I am able take picture or import it from the library. The OCR however, does not work well. It will probably take less time to type the text then to edit the ocred text.

The app mustve been improved since the earlier reviews. I tested it a few times and it appears to work and recognize just fine, English that is.

So far, the app does not do a very good job. It does a somewhat decent job, but cant do the whole text I scan. If it improves the app will get 4-5 stars. Now, its just not there yet. Very inaccurate. Oh, and it doesnt do Arabic...I read that somewhere!

I just scanned a difficult doc with 4 or 5 different font sizes and formats. It looked to be better than 95% accurate. You have to hold the phone upright.

I tried it in both, English and Spanish. The extraction is better in English, but it still awful. Also it seems to have problems distinguishing commas and dots (points, periods, whatever you call it)

I cannot believe that this app was updated, being a paid for "Pro" version, to add a full screen start up ad, and another full screen ad when you press the settings icon. Im now looking for another app to replace this bait-and-switch BS.

Not much of use for small font text, or long lines of text...

I mean seriously? It doesnt even work on digital words. It just types a bunch of symbols. *]*{^^[<|<>_%{<<%>

This app cannot read a simple high resolution screencap of black and white text with good contrast. Also, even though its a paid app, it has aggressively persistent full-screen popup ads.

Cant read text at all. Gets a couple words then I get sentences of random symbols. Waste if iPhone space

A paid version with full screen advertisement any time i click on it. They cheat us. Do not trust them

Just a gobbled mess, plus this "Pro" version has obnoxious full-screen ads! Do not purchase!

It had a great interface to scan my doc. I like it!
